As part of CULT of Individuality‘s Spring/Summer 2022 collection, Ron Poisson comes to surprise and remind us why he is not “just another one” in the industry. Inspired by his favorite jeans, Poisson and his team use denim as a base to reflect the genuine that sets CULT apart from the rest, as well as fusing elements such as rock & roll, Japanese-American details and different works of art suitable for interpreting what he says he “feels in his heart“.
Being a collection with 20 years in motion between the fashion world and different recognized personalities, as well as collaborations with international brands, Poisson seeks to innovate and improve this scope in his next show announced for July 22, 2021 in New York; with support from Mykel C. Smith, Creative as director of the show as well as a series of different elements that will communicate the message of authenticity of CULT.
“Ascension”, as the event has been named, aims to pay tribute to the current fashion industry, how events live are slowly coming back and how everything is emerging again. In this way Ron Poisson reminds us of his iconic phrase “You can’t do epic shit with basic people”, which we will be able to appreciate better than ever in this release by CULT of Individuality.
