Laurence Basse returned to New York Fashion Week with her label LAURENCE BASSE PARIS, showcasing her Fall/Winter 2024 collection titled «BURN THE CITY.» The collection, described by Basse as «WARRIOR,» reflects the brand’s focus on the world’s current state, blending beauty and pain. Basse aimed to bring versatility to her first solo New York Fashion Week, displaying her collection at The Paramount Building in Times Square. The collection featured impeccable leatherwork alongside materials like denim, silk, and wool, with a color palette ranging from traditional black to pink, blue, green, and metallic tones. Standout pieces included a baby pink leather jumpsuit and a two-piece leather gown. Custom-designed chainlink jewelry adorned the models, created in collaboration with Mr O Atelier. The runway display concluded with recycled fur pieces designed by Basse and crafted by Tas Kletsidis.
