F.I.T. Group NYMD Spring/Summer 2026 unfolded as a focused platform for emerging menswear voices, highlighting experimentation, identity, and the evolving language of contemporary design. The presentation felt dynamic and forward-looking, offering a snapshot of where new talent is positioning itself within the broader fashion conversation.

Silhouettes varied across the runway, moving between sharp tailoring, relaxed proportions, and conceptual constructions. This diversity became one of the event’s strengths, reflecting a generation of designers unafraid to blend structure with ease, tradition with disruption. Each look carried a distinct point of view while contributing to a cohesive narrative of exploration.

Fabrication and styling played an essential role. Layering, texture, and unconventional material pairings introduced depth and movement, emphasizing individuality over uniformity. There was a sense of freedom in the way garments were worn—suggesting fashion as expression rather than prescription.

What stood out most was the collective energy. F.I.T. Group NYMD SS26 functioned not just as a runway, but as a space for visibility and momentum. It underscored the importance of community, experimentation, and emerging perspectives, positioning the next generation of menswear designers firmly within the present—and pointed toward what comes next.

NYMD presented by Coterie and PROJECT Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan, Grimoire, Oribe and Augment.
